Introduction
In 2022, the Netherlands and Poland had the honor of co-hosting the FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship. 24 national teams battled it out over 23 intense days for the coveted world title, bringing together the very best in the sport.
Concept
Biggest Dutch indoor sports event ever
With 125,000 visitors, the World Championship organized by the Dutch Volleyball Association became the largest indoor sports event ever held in the Netherlands. But it didn’t stop there: almost 1.1 billion viewers tuned in worldwide via TV and streaming to witness the action. Behind the scenes, sport marketing agency TIG Sports played a pivotal role in the organization, a long-time trusted partner of For Live for countless sports events.
With our technical expertise and broad range of services in decor, staging, and technology, we’re a partner who doesn’t just execute – we actively collaborate and brainstorm.
Design
Each venue its own experience
For this project, our team was tasked with both the decor and the technical production across all the World Championship venues. Our creative team managed to transform each venue into a unique experience, for both the live audience and the millions watching from home. The strategically placed LED panels were an integral part of the design during the finals at the Omnisport Complex in Apeldoorn, capturing the intensity of the action on the court.
Production
Specialized sports lighting
For Live also brought its unique sports lighting into play – optimized for athletes and perfect for camera and photography shots. Combined with a clever lighting design, a powerful audio plan, and multiple LED screens, we delivered a full-service production that was truly monumental. A project where all disciplines of For Live shone through.
